That is such a creative way to make sure that everyone is involved in during that time. I am curious why you chose a mouse? This activity has so many aspects to it that are so beneficial for students. Math, English, Art, motor skills, social skills, business, safety, community bonding, and technology were the areas that I could come up with that your activity could cover. That is an amazing list! I like finding activities that cover multiple areas. I have found that students motivation increases when they see that different areas are coming together to create an outcome.

Wow!!! that is a great lesson. I enjoyed hearning how much success you had. not only did it require the use of social skills but incorporated math skills as well.

Thanks, Linda! That made my day! This year we're making snowflake ornaments, but I kind of wish we would have made some more mice--I really like that nickname! :o)

You Miss Melissa, are a Mighty Mouse! What an inspiring lesson! Thank you for sharing!
